As a growing congregation, in the Austin - Texas area, we are looking for an Associate Pastor who will help us reach new people and draw us closer to God. Associate Pastor
Duties
- Help develop a culture of conversion, especially by developing a worship service that features preaching relevant to seekers and regular invitations to receive Christ.
- Set aside regular time for connecting with people outside the church so as to become an inviter yourself.
- Preach and assist in pastoral care as needed.
- Help equip new small group leaders for their ministry.
- Participate in prayer ministries and Alpha course.

- Constant in purpose of spreading the saving Gospel and seeing it received.
- Flexible in strategy and tactics in doing evangelism.
- Able to honor and learn from experienced Christians.
- Respectful of seekers.
- Fun.
- Comfortable and persuasive as a communicator.

- On to contemporary culture and technology.
- Passionate about Praise and Worship.
Qualifications
- A testimony of when and how Christ's saving love came into your life and the difference He has made.
- Love for the Word of God.
- Ability to lead people in praising God and other forms of prayer.
- Knowledge of and ability to relate positively with secular people under 40.
- Experience in growing a ministry.
